I've just read read this article and found out that Apple plans to introduce LED backlights by the end of this year. I later checked the Green My Apple website and they put it on their website as breaking news. Check their view here. Well my comment on this is that yes net campaigns do work and things happen quicker that even expected. So leave behind your pessimistic views when you find out about consumers campaigns. Some people are listening, so it seems at least. But in order for them to listen to you must speak of course, like the community bloggers at Digg did when somebody tried to censor posts on cracking DVD's. Read the story on BBC News.
